Term of Office
Two years. A person, can serve a maximum of three (3) consecutive two year terms, for a maximum of six (6) years as elected Director, shall not be eligible to serve again as a Director for one year after completing their third term.
Board Requirements
All members of the Board of Directors must have a commitment to the mission of the Wilton Food Pantry. Contributions to be made in the form of time, service, or fiscal donation, at levels to be determined by the Board.
Board Meetings
The full board meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month starting at 5:30pm at the Wilton Food Pantry (or via Zoom)
Committee Meetings
Committees meet at the pleasure of committee members in order to accomplish certain tasks by established deadlines. Attendance and participation is essential for the committees to accomplish their goals.
Other Time Requirements
- Annual Meeting is held in February each calendar year.
- Empty Bowls: Annual Fundraising Event requires participation in soliciting donors, auction items and assisting with Event setup/breakdown
- Strategic Planning: We hold a half-day retreat (locally) each year to review and update our strategic plan
