Empty Bowls – Sunday April 13th (1pm – 4pm)

This unique event features hand-crafted bowls from the Skidmore College Ceramic Arts students, along with local culinary delights created by Skidmore Chefs and live music by John and Orion Kribs (with special guests) & an amazing Silent Auction.

 Here’s how it all works

  • Guests purchase a ticket to attend the Sunday April 13th event: Handcrafted bowls ($20 advanced | $25 at door) Produced Bowls ($15 advanced | $20 at door)
  • Advance tickets can be purchased on-line and picked up at Will Call the day of the event. 
  • Starting in March advanced tickets can be purchased at any Saratoga National Bank Wilton branch
  • Event runs from 1pm – 4pm at the Saratoga-Wilton Elks Lodge on Rt. 9
  • Guests pick out a bowl
  • Bowls will be filled with simple meal of Soup or Chili and Bread.
  • Guests keep their bowls as a reminder of our neighbors facing food insecurity.

What is Empty Bowls

Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort created by the Imagine Render Group to fight hunger.  At events across the US, and in at least a dozen other countries, guests exchange a small cash donation for a simple meal of soup and bread served in a handcrafted bowl of their choice.  Learn more about the Empty Bowls Project by visiting www.emptybowls.net
